Consulting GmbH and Munich University of Applied Sciences HM<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6190268 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6190268\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Development of a decentralized plant for the production of methanol from residual loads (= surplus electricity from renewable energy sources) using anthropogenic CO2.<\/p>\n<p>The systems are designed as containers so that they can be easily installed in the vicinity of wind power, photovoltaic systems or CO2 sources.<\/p>\n<p>The product methanol can be used as an energy storage\/fuel or as a reactant for many industrial applications.<\/p>\n<p>CO2 is bound for as long as possible or at least not emitted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Challenge:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Decentralized compact design &#8211; container construction &#8211; installation directly at wind farms, photovoltaic systems or green CO2 sources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scalable, modular design<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fast response times, availability whenever residual loads (= surplus electricity from renewable sources) are available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>High efficiency and heat integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Product purity: High methanol purity after the reactor, so that complex purification can be omitted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you would like to find out more about our project, please contact us &#8211; Our simulations help to increase the efficiency of production plants, save energy and reduce operating costs.
